These Terms govern your use of the DrawnCamera application for Windows, this website, and the activation service behind them (together, the "Service"), operated by Nikolay Kovalskiy aka AppoMobi, an independent developer ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use DrawnCamera on machines you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the app, its masks, its backgrounds or its filters, except where the law explicitly allows it regardless of this clause.
An account is identified by an email address. Whoever can read that mailbox — or sign in to the Google account behind that address — can sign in, so keep it secure. You may sign in on several machines; each one holds its own session, and you can sign out at any time. We may revoke a session or an account that is being used to break these Terms.
Every computer gets 30 days with everything unlocked, with no account and no payment. It starts the first time the app runs on that machine, and it is one free month per computer rather than one per Windows user account.
When the month ends the app keeps working. The virtual camera stays, and so do the background blur and bokeh — that is the free tier, and it is not time-limited. What stops is the filters, the face effects, the other backgrounds, the image adjustments and renaming the virtual camera; and the picture then carries a "DrawnCamera" watermark, both in the app's preview and in what people on your call see.
A subscription brings those back. What it costs, how long it runs, whether it renews and who processes the payment are shown before you pay; a subscription that renews automatically says so at checkout and can be cancelled at any time, which stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running to its end. Refunds follow the rules of the payment provider that took the payment and any right of withdrawal the law of your country gives you. Promo codes also unlock the same features: each is single-use and runs for a stated period.
A subscription belongs to an email account, not to a machine, so it follows you to a reinstall or a new PC when you sign in there. Once the app has confirmed it, a signed licence is stored locally so the app keeps working offline; if it cannot reach our server it honours that licence for a grace period before falling back to the free tier.
Which features sit on which side of that line can change as the app changes. We will not move something you are already paying for out of a subscription without saying so.
The video and images you run through DrawnCamera are yours. We claim nothing in them and, since your video never reaches us, we could not use it if we wanted to — see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for how you appear and for what you show on a call, including obtaining any consent that recording or broadcasting other people requires where you live.
The app, its name, its design, and the masks, backgrounds, filters and shaders it ships with are our intellectual property or used under licence. They come with the app; they do not come with a right to extract, republish or ship them in something else.
We may change, update or discontinue features. Updates are delivered through the app's own update channel and may be required for the Service to keep working. Google sign-in is not offered in every country for legal reasons, and email sign-in remains available everywhere.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. DrawnCamera renders on your GPU, so performance and visual results vary with your hardware, drivers, webcam and lighting, and behaviour inside a third-party video-call application is outside our control. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to EUR 10.
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app, and you can have your account deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are materially breached.
We may update these Terms; the current version always lives on this page with its effective date. Continued use after an update means acceptance, and anything material is noted in the app's release notes.
These Terms are governed by the law of the developer's country of residence, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your own country. Questions: [email protected].
