DrawnCameraStudio Effects without an NPU
DrawnCamera grades your webcam video like a film: blur, bokeh and dozens of looks up to anime and manga, on you or on the room only. Windows Studio Effects needs a PC with an NPU, a chip for AI, and its creative filters only run on Snapdragon Copilot+ PCs. DrawnCamera does its work on your graphics card instead.

Your PC has Studio Effects and you only need blur and eye contact? Keep it. DrawnCamera is for everyone else, and for anyone who wants their call to look like a film.
Set it up in four steps
- Download DrawnCamera and run the installer. It asks for administrator rights once, to add the camera to Windows. No driver is installed.
- Open DrawnCamera, choose your webcam, then pick a background and a look.
- In your call app, open the camera settings and choose "DrawnCamera (Windows Virtual Camera)".
- Close the window. DrawnCamera keeps running in the tray and turns your webcam off when no call uses it.

What it costs
Everything is unlocked for 30 days. After that the camera, background blur, bokeh and long-lens zoom keep working with a small DrawnCamera mark in the corner. A subscription, $19.99 a year or $2.99 a month, brings back the looks, face effects, custom backgrounds and adjustments and removes the mark. Details.
