DrawnCameraSwitching from ChromaCam
ChromaCam shuts down on 30 September 2026. If you used it for background blur or replace on Zoom, Teams or Meet, DrawnCamera does the same job on Windows 11, with a few things ChromaCam never had, and without installing a driver.

Switch in five steps
- Uninstall ChromaCam from Settings, Apps, so it stops claiming your webcam.
- Download DrawnCamera and run the installer. It asks for admin once, to register the camera.
- Open DrawnCamera, choose your webcam, pick a background and a look.
- In Zoom, Teams, Meet or Discord, open camera settings and choose "DrawnCamera (Windows Virtual Camera)".
- Close the window. DrawnCamera keeps running in the tray and gives the webcam back when no call is using it.
What it costs
Everything is unlocked for 30 days, no account, no card. After that the camera, background blur and bokeh keep working with a small DrawnCamera mark in the corner. A subscription, $19.99 a year, brings back the looks, face effects, custom backgrounds and adjustments and removes the mark. Details.
